Flycatchers, Pewee, Phoebe, and Kingbirds

This page includes the Flycatcher/Pewee/Phoebe sub-family (Fluvicolinae) and the Tyrant Flycatcher/Kingbird sub-family (Tyrannidae). Both are part of the family Tyrannidae. This family is a member of the huge order of Passeriformes as are the Corvids, Swallows, Thrushes, Warblers, Finches, Sparrows, and related families. This order includes more than half of all bird species; they are sometimes known as perching birds. (Note: titles with an * have only a picture, not an article)
