Farrell-McWhirter Park Field Trip (5/28/01) Highlights

Six birders showed up on a cloudy, cool, rainy morning.

We saw/heard only 11 species for one of the lowest totals for a field trip. The best birds were four that were heard: Pileated Woodpecker, Swainson’s Thrush, Wilson’s Warbler and Winter Wren.

Highlights were nine piglets and two goat kids at the children’s farm.
