Green Lake Field Trip (12/14/03) Highlights

Hugh Jennings enjoyed a leisurely walk around Green Lake with Martin Muller. It rained continuously which probably was the reason no one else showed up for this trip.

Highlights included 5 Eurasian Wigeon (the most we have seen here), Bald Eagle, Cooper’s Hawk, American Goldfinch, Chestnut-backed Chickadees, Golden-crowned Kinglets, a flock of about 20 Bushtits that followed us around the lake and Common Mergansers. Between the two of us, we saw 26 species.
