Montlake Fille (Union Bay Natural Area) Field Trip (6/25/01) Highlights

Ten birders showed up on a nice partly cloudy day to find 34 species.

Most notable species seen were beautiful Cinnamon Teal, Bald Eagle, 2 Red-tailed Hawks seen at the Park & Ride, a Western Sandpiper, one Caspian Tern that flew over, Virginia Rail both heard and briefly seen and a Purple Finch.
