Snoqualmie Valley Field Trip (2/13/03) Highlights

The first stop out of Fall City was a bonanza ...

with two Pileated Woodpeckers, at least 3 Brown Creepers, Red-tailed Hawk and heron interaction, Ring-necked Ducks, Pied-billed Grebe, Belted Kingfisher, kinglets and sparrows.

Fifteen Red-tailed Hawks, 12 Bald Eagles and one Northern Harrier were seen throughout the day along with Wigeon, Green-winged Teal, Golden-crowned and White-crowned Sparrows, and courting Common Mergansers.
