Hazel Wolf Wetlands Field Trip (8/9/01) Highlights

A walk in this treed wetland on the Sammamish Plateau was enjoyed by 13 people, including leader Joyce Meyer, on a sunny day.

Douglas squirrel, garter snake and various slugs were along the trail. Chickadees, Bewick's Wren, Great Blue Heron, Wood Duck, Willow Flycatcher and a female Western Tanager were among the 16 identified bird species.
