Birding opportunities in rich upland habitat - the freshwater delta from Issaquah Creek and Lake Sammamish are at their zenith in May. Look for warblers and migrants in the thick vegetation, scavengers at the mouth of the creek and diving birds in the lake.
The trip will involve walking approximately 2-3 miles. Dress appropriately (rainproof in layers; some of the trails can be muddy if wet.
Just inside the main entrance, take the first left into the large parking lot and meet at the northeast end.
Co-leaders are Sharon Aagaard and Stan Wood.
