Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge-Birdathon Trip
The Nisqually NWR offers a diverse combination of habitats and birds. The delta is bounded by rivers on each side with marshes, deciduous woods and wide open areas easily accessed by a 5 mile loop trail.

Early spring migrants should be arriving to joining regulars such as woodpeckers and Great Horned owls. A variety of still wintering waterfowl and raptors should be present as well. Admission is free if you have a National Golden Pass or Federal Duck Stamp. Meet before 8:00 a.m. at north end of the Wilburton Park-N-Ride (I-405, exit 12) to carpool. Bring a lunch and dress for the weather.
Carpool cost is $12/person for passengers.
