Late summer is a time to look for and practice identifying migrating shorebirds. We will work many of the most active spots in Grays Harbor County looking for a wide variety of them. We will also keep our eyes out for seabirds, perhaps waterfowl, raptors, and passerines. Scopes very helpful, bring lunch and fluids. We will meet at 7 a.m. at the Newport Hills Park & Ride (Exit 9 off I-405), on the right just after you turn into the lot. $33/ person. Call Brian Bell to reserve your place: 425-485-8058.
