Native Plant Salvage Work Party
Our work party this month shifts one time only to the old Group Health site in Redmond, where Eastside Audubon has a chance to dig up native plants that we can reuse later at Marymoor. We need lots of volunteers!

Before the defunct Group Health campus is demolished for redevelopment, Eastside Audubon has a priceless opportunity to save the native plants growing there and reuse them to improve habitat for birds and wildlife.
At this work party on December 1, we'll dig out the plants and pot them up. Then, later in the winter, we'll replant them at the Audubon BirdLoop at Marymoor Park.
We need plenty of volunteers for the salvage effort. Can you dig it? You can help!
You'll need a shovel, sturdy shoes, and clothes for whatever the weather is up to. We'll give you plenty of help to know what to dig. And we'll bring you coffee and snacks.
To sign up and get details about where to meet, please get in touch with Tim McGruder:

Eastside Audubon thanks Group Health for this tremendous opportunity in support of our conservation work at Marymoor Park.
