April 9 (Wednesday) 6:30 a.m. Meet at the Kingsgate P&R (regular route now open again) at 6:30 a.m. We will probably start at the north end of the island and work our way south.

NPW: Ellensburg Wildflowers (Manastash Ridge, Ellensburg, from May 17, 2008 07:30 AM to May 17, 2008 05:00 PM)

Walk out along the open flats along Manastash Ridge from the observatory to see shrub-steppe wildflowers. Also visit Vreidenberg Bluebird Trail.

The Nisqually NWR offers a diverse combination of habitats and birds.

Samish and Skagit Flats - January 9 (Wednesday) 7:30 a.m. to late afternoon (from Jan 09, 2008 07:30 AM to Jan 09, 2008 05:00 PM)

We will be looking for raptors including Bald Eagles, Red-tailed and Rough-legged Hawks, Northern Harriers, all the falcons and Short-eared Owls.
