The Yes on Proposition 1 campaign ( www.yesonroadsandtransit.org) and the No on Proposition 1 campaign ( www.NoRTID.org ) will be represented in this panel forum on the benefits and weaknesses of the largest transportation package before the voters in years. Prop. 1 would increase sales tax and vehicle license fees in King, Pierce and Snohomish counties to fund new and expanded freeway lanes, and public transportation.

The environmental community is not united in whether or not to endorse this proposal. Proposition 1 is complex and clearly a compromise from the environmental perspective. Join us for an informative and engaging evening.
