This is a joint trip with the Mountaineers Photo group.  We will go rain or shine - so dress yourself and your camera for the weather.  Just a reminder to bring ID for the border in order of their preference - passport, birth certificate or drivers license or state ID.

There will be lots of waterfowl to photograph - some very close and some at a distance in some of the larger ponds.  There should also be snow geese, (maybe swans), wintering song birds, herons, the resident sandhill cranes, maybe owls.

You can meet us at the Reifel visitors center at 9AM or if you're interested in carpooling, meet at the McCollum Park and Ride at 6:30 AM. (Those of you on the eastside may want to carpool from somewhere over there).   We will meet in the NW corner facing 128th st.  I drive a red Honda Pilot with a watchable wildlife eagle plate.  We can divide up into cars at the P&R.  I will drive and can take 3 others with me.  Please let me know if you plan to go and whether you'll meet us at Reifel or the P&R.

Reifel has a web site if anyone needs additional info.  Bring a lunch, as there is a nice warm place for us to eat.  If memory serves, there is not any people food for sale.
