The tidal flats and fields provide habitat for 20,000+ snow geese in winter (they nest in Siberia). Many buteos, owls, and falcons hunt in the area. Tundra and Trumpeter Swans should also be numerous. Meet before 7:30 a.m. at the south end of the Kingsgate P&R. Bring a lunch. Passenger cost/person is $11.00. Call Mike West at 206-795-4865 to reserve a space.
