Native plants increase the diversity of wildlife in our parks and neighborhoods and can help suppress invasive species. Come learn to identify the native plants at Edith Moulton Park. Jan Johnson, a Washington Native Plant Society Master Native Plant Steward, Green Kirkland Partnership Steward, and volunteer Ranger at Juanita Bay Park, will lead participants on a one-hour tour of the park focusing on the local native flora and the habitat restoration efforts. Come see bird-friendly habitats and restoration efforts through the eyes of an expert. Meet at the entry kiosk off of 108th Avenue NE and wear suitable clothing for the weather. This walk is suitable for all ages and knowledge levels and will last approximately one hour. No registration is required.
