Tim Boyer will present Spring Shorebirds of Washington covering the 35 shorebirds most likely to be seen during spring migration. The talk will include some identification tips along with information about how and why shorebirds migrate and the best locations to watch them.
Tim Boyer is an award winning nature photographer. His images have been published in many bird and nature magazines, along with selling fine art prints at art festivals around the Pacific Northwest. He is a full-time photographer and a graduate of Seattle Audubon’s Master Birder Program. He enjoys sharing his knowledge of photography and birds through workshops and presentations. Tim is shorebird expert teaching classes and leading fieldtrips for several local Audubon Chapters.
His interest in the natural world and being outdoors has lead to decades of photography focusing on birds with an emphasis on shorebirds, eagles & peregrines, and landscapes throughout North America.
