This easy walk is perfect for families with children, and the park offers an assortment of birds and habitats that allow us to get close to many of them.
The walk covers about 2 miles along walkways and maintained trails. Dress appropriately (rainproof in layers; some of the trails can be very muddy if wet).
Just inside the main entrance, take the first left into the large parking lot and meet at the northeast end before 10 a.m. A Discover Pass is required to park. (Pass available at discoverpass.wa.gov and many Big 5 and Fred Meyer locations.) No pre-registration required. Leader: Andy McCormick.
