Discover the park’s natural wonders on a walk with knowledgeable Eastside Park Rangers. Visit a variety of nature-related booths to learn more about our feathered friends.


Participate in a migration game and learn about the perils birds face on their migratory routes. Marvel at the beauty of local birds. Challenge yourself by matching pictures of birds with their names. Learn how to participate in Cornell University’s Project Feeder Watch.  And much more on the 2011 theme: “Go Wild Go Birding!”


Bird bracelets, stickers, coloring pages and tattoos await the younger set. And young and old will enjoy a Saturday spent in nature. Parking located in the south parking lot and along Market Street.
