Unincorporated Forest Lands Protected HabitatFor a wonderful nature experience, visit some of the natural areas in East King County's forest lands. They contain a diversity of native vegetation that provides habitat for birds, fish, and other wildlife and embodies the beauty and character of our region's landscape. Enjoy the regional scenic areas, parks and trails, many which have portions set aside for natural areas and all of which are protected from development. This territory includes forested areas north of I-90 between North Bend and Snoqualmie Summit and areas south of I-90 around Tiger Mountain, Squak Mountain, and Rattlesnake Mountain.
