Meet Shane Egeland, EAS Vice President
This is the fourth in a series of introductions to members who have joined the Eastside Audubon board in recent months. In related news, Diane Crestanello, who was appointed an at large board member in December, has switched to the role of Education Committee Chair.
Now, Shane in his own words:
My wife and I moved to the Puget Sound area in 2008, and have recently bought a home in west Bellevue. We joined the chapter to get more exposure to Washington birds and conservation efforts.
My birding passion revolves primarily around photography, enhancing bird habitat at our home, and adding to my life list during our travels.
With degrees in biology, education, and business and career experiences centered on technology and the environment, I joined the board to leverage my skills in continuing the success of the Eastside Audubon mission.
I work on growing a small management-consulting firm that I founded last year.
