Youth Education Committee

 

YOUTH EDUCATION COMMITTEE

Volunteers from Eastside Audubon's Youth Education Program work with children of all ages in a variety of settings-schools, nature centers, parks, camps, festivals and fairs.

 

Classroom Workshops

We offer a variety of student workshops. All presentations are interactive, hands-on and can be adapted to the needs of students. They support the Essential Academic Learning Requirements.

Bird Discovery Box

After an Eastside Audubon presentation, teachers may borrow the Bird Discovery Box which contains lesson plans and the materials needed to teach them.

Grants and Scholarships

For teachers, high-school seniors and low-income, middle-school students
