Evening is a special time for birding and midsummer gives a chance to see birds later in the day and listen to their evening songs. As dusk deepens, we may be lucky enough to see owls on the hunt.

We will walk the Audubon BirdLoop, which is about 2 miles along the Sammamish Slough and through the East Meadow, ending at the Clise Mansion area.

Meet at Parking Lot D. (When entering the park from West Lake Sammamish Parkway, turn right at the third stop sign.) Parking $1. (Walk is free.)

Bring binoculars and a snack, and dress for the weather. No pre-registration required.

Leader: Andy McCormick, 425-518-0892.
