This field trip, a combination of instruction and field time, is for the novice birder - someone with little or no birding experience.  Trip leaders Lori and Antonio will first cover topics such as birding etiquette, choosing/using binoculars, using field guides and birding apps, then lead the group on a birding trip through the Lake Hills Greenbelt area.  This trip is a good primer before heading out on your own or joining other Audubon field trips.  Bring binoculars if you have them, loaners will be available if you don't.  Children 10+ are permitted if accompanied by a parent/guardian.  The trip is free but limited to 8 persons and pre-registration is required.  Contact the trip leader to register or with questions.
