This field trip, a combination of instruction and field time, is for the novice birder - someone with little or no birding experience.  Trip leaders Lori and Antonio will first cover topics such as birding etiquette, choosing/using binoculars, using field guides and birding apps, then lead the group on a birding trip through the park.  This trip is a good primer before heading out on your own or joining other Audubon field trips.  Bring binoculars if you have them, loaners will be available if you don't.  Children 10+ are permitted if accompanied by a parent/guardian.  The trip is free but limited to 8 persons and pre-registration is required.  Contact the trip leader to register or with questions.

The mission of Eastside Audubon is to protect, preserve and enhance natural ecosystems and our communities for the benefit of birds, other wildlife and people.
