September is a good time for southbound shorebirds and Grays Harbor County is the place. We will carpool and include Bottle Beach among our stops. We will be searching for Western and Least Sandpipers, Black-bellied and Semi-palmated Sandpipers, Sanderlings, turnstones, godwits and any unusual shorebirds that might show up. We will also be looking for songbirds and any raptors that are around.

This will be a long day trip and probably arrive back around 6 pm. Meet at I-405 exit 9 P&R at 6:30 AM - carpool to 3 cars, limit 10 people. Bring lunch and fluids, a scope is very helpful and a Discover Pass if you have one. Call Brian (425-485-8058) to reserve your spot on the trip You can contact him the morning of the trip only at 206-619-0379. Field trip cost: $33/passenger. Co-leaders: Brian Bell and Nancy Hubly.
