We will make a return visit to Magnuson Park for some spring birding. We’ll walk about two miles exploring this refurbished Seattle park and check the Promontory Point wooded area, the central grassland including Kite Hill, the shore of Lake Washington, and the wetland installation which has now matured for about seven years. Our goal is to find early spring migrants including warblers, shorebirds and waterfowl, raptors, and lingering winter visitors. Bring a snack and water. Dress for the weather. Meet before 7:30 a.m. just north of the bus stop at the South Kirkland P&R (on 108th Ave. NE just north of SR 520 and Northup Way) to carpool. Passenger cost/person $3.00 including share of SR 520 toll. Leader: Andy McCormick (425) 518-0892.

The mission of Eastside Audubon is to protect, preserve and enhance natural ecosystems and our communities for the benefit of birds, other wildlife and people.
