Christmas Bird Count Set for December 20

Please mark your calendar now for Saturday, December 20, and plan to be part of an Eastside Audubon team as we survey our territory for the 115th annual nationwide bird count.

Cackling Goose, by Mick ThompsonTraditionally at the end of our count day, participants gather to share a hot supper and talk about their experiences in the field.

Seeking a Supper Spot

This year we’re looking for a venue for our after-count party.

If your neighborhood or church has a community center that Eastside Audubon may be able to use for this evening occasion, please get in touch with the chapter’s administrative assistant, Mel Clark: or 425-576-8805.

Other venue suggestions also are welcome.
