Skill Level: This field trip is for any level of birder and people with little or no birding experience are encouraged to attend. Children 10+ are permitted if accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Overview: Join Lori for an exploration of the Lake Hills Greenbelt and Larson Lake area. In the fall, species we might see in this park include Northern Flickers and other woodpeckers, Spotted Towhees, Pied-billed Grebes, several duck and goose species, Great Blue Herons, Cooper's Hawks, chickadees, wrens and more.

Pace: Leisurely walk

Terrain: We'll be on level gravel and dirt trails. 

Distance: The distance covered will be around 2.5 miles.

Notes: This is a free event and registration is not required. There are toilets available at the start and at halfway through the walk. Please plan to be outdoors with whatever water, snacks, sunscreen, bug repellent, or other supplies you may need.
