Did you know your yard could host up to 50 species of birds, along with numerous bugs and mammals?
Join Master Birder and Gardener Penny Bolton for an engaging talk on the richness of wildlife in your backyard. Bolton describes the outdoors as a zoo once you start paying attention! Discover the many species we share our spaces with and learn how to coexist with them.
This event will be held in-person at the Bellevue Botanical Gardens and explore bird songs, ways to attract birds safely, and the role of mammals and insects in a balanced yard. You'll also gain insights into creating inviting landscapes that support both wildlife and plant health.
Penny Bolton has been a Master Gardener for over 30 years and is an Audubon Master Birder. She holds certifications in Professional Dog Training, Applied Animal Behavior, and Living and Learning with Animals. Expect to learn not only about fostering a healthy garden but also about human-animal interactions in these environments.
