"Welcome Back" Youth Education Committee
After months without children, the Youth Education Committee had its first event on Sunday, August 28, at “Welcome Back” sponsored by the PACE Program at Woodmoor Elementary. Students, siblings and parents enjoyed a sunny day at the Redmond Connector Park and participated in games, a viewing of the heron rookery and Audubon’s bird mounts, feathers, eggs, bird sounds, talon board and nests. Three-year-old Sophia proves that you are never too young to enjoy birds!
