Juanita Bay Park Bird Roll and Stroll - Saturday, May 25
Join us for a morning walk at one of east Lake Washington’s most birdy parks. Individuals with limited mobility, slow walkers, people with disabilities, and beginning birders are encouraged to participate. People needing assistance will need to have someone accompany them. We will walk on mostly level paved pathways and boardwalks. Spring migration will be in full swing and we should see warblers, woodpeckers, nesting ducks, and some local raptors including Red-tailed Hawk and Bald Eagle. Bring binoculars, water, and a snack and meet before 9:00 AM at the parking lot at Juanita Bay Park. Option to go for coffee after the walk. Registration for this trip is not required, but it is appreciated.
Field Trip Leader: Katherine Voss, 425-241-5630 for day of trip only.
*This field trip is part of Eastside Audubon’s Birdathon fundraiser. A donation of $25 or more is encouraged to support the conservation, education, and advocacy work of our chapter.
