The Youth Education Committee is an active group of volunteers dedicated to the education of children through hands-on workshops, family birding walks, and community presentations. The committee also awards teachers and students scholarships to further their knowledge of nature and the environment. Volunteers from the committee work with children of all ages in a variety of settings: schools, nature centers, parks, camps, festivals and fairs.
