Fall is a good time to explore the Puget Sound/Admiralty Inlet area. We will catch a ferry across to the Kitsap Peninsula and work our way up past Port Gamble toward Marrowstone Island, and then to the Port Townsend area. This time of year is good for loons, grebes, alcids, waterfowl and lingering shorebirds. We will also keep our eyes out for passerines. Scopes are helpful. Bring lunch, Discover Pass and be prepared for most any kind of weather. Meet at the Kingsgate Park & Ride at 7 AM prompt. We will plan on getting back around 5 PM.
