BIRDATHON SERIES: SPENCER ISLAND TRIP

Spencer Island Trip – Saturday, May 18

Spring is a good time to explore this wetland located near the Everett Sewage Treatment Ponds. Waterfowl, shorebirds, raptors, and gulls as well as migrating warblers, sparrows and other songbirds in brushy and grassy areas are all possible in this varied habitat. Bring lunch and dress for the weather. Meet before 7:00 AM at the south end of the Kingsgate Park & Ride off I-405 in Kirkland. Return about 1:30 PM. There is an additional carpool passenger cost per person  of $4.00. Registration for this trip is not required, but it is appreciated.
