WHIDBEY ISLAND FIELD TRIP

  • Kingsgate Park and Ride 13001 116th Avenue Northeast Kirkland, WA, 98034 United States (map)

Birding on Whidbey Island is excellent any time of year, but late summer is a good time. We will start at the south end of the island and work our way north. We will be looking for shorebirds (they have begun the southbound migration), waterbirds, waterfowl, passerines, and raptors.

We will be meeting up before 6:15 AM at the north end of the Kingsgate P&R to carpool and to catch a 7:00 ferry. Bring a pair of scopes, lunch, and a Discover Pass if you have one!

This field trip is limited to 11 people, due to our carpool. For each person the share is $17/passenger plus Ferry share.

Call Brian to reserve your spot on the trip 425-485-8058 (call 206-619-0379 early on the morning of the trip only.)
