Virtual Open House for Eastside Audubon
Have you been looking for a meaningful way to address environmental issues in your community, but don't know where to start? Join members of Eastside Audubon's Board of Directors, volunteers, and staff for an informal discussion on our chapter's legacy of conservation throughout Greater King County as well as learn about volunteer opportunities available to help combat the environmental challenges facing birds and other wildlife.
Our chapter is committed to addressing the impact of climate change and protecting the places we cherish the most. Thanks to the passion and dedication of our volunteers, we accomplish our mission through a range of programs including conserving habitat for birds and wildlife, advocating for environmental issues locally and in Olympia, and providing education to the community through speakers, classes, and birding trips.
For 40 years, community members just like you have been helping to protect our natural world by serving in a variety of positions within our organization including board of directors, coordinators, project leads, and more. We currently have an assortment of positions open in birding, communication, education, financial development, membership, and volunteer coordination.
Eastside Audubon strives to have a diverse board and volunteer base that is representative of the community we serve. We value a variety of perspectives and life experiences and encourage people of all backgrounds to join. We believe diversity and inclusion among our leadership is critical to the success of the organization.
