This field trip is open to all. Beginners are welcome. Children 10+ are permitted if accompanied by a parent/guardian. We expect to see numerous winter ducks, flocks of blackbird species, raptors, sparrows and mixed winter flocks of golden-crowned kinglets / chickadees / brown creepers.

Pace: The pace for this walk will be leisurely to moderate, on the packed gravel of the Snoqualmie Valley Trail. The distance covered will be roughly 3 miles. There are no benches or portable toilets available (McCormick Park in Duvall has a public restroom and Tolt-McDonald Park in Carnation has portable toilets, and there are good coffee shops in both towns).
