Visualizing the Wonders of Bird Migration
At our October program night, Dr. Trina Bayard will present a new, interactive atlas called the Bird Migration Explorer that was published last month by National Audubon and 10 other collaborating scientific organizations. This new tool draws from many scientific and community data sources to illustrate the migration routes of 458 bird species in the Americas. The Explorer reveals the journey of migratory birds, how they connect places across the hemisphere, and many of the conservation challenges they encounter throughout the year. It also shares stories of what people are doing to protect migratory birds and the places they need.
Join us on October 27th at 7 p.m. to learn about this exciting new tool that’s free and available to the public, and how you can use it to protect birds and their habitat.
