Juanita Bay Park Interpretive Tour

Songbirds, waterfowl, raptors, shorebirds, amphibians, turtles, beavers, and other small mammals make Juanita Bay Park their home. Interpretive tours of this wildlife habitat are conducted by Eastside Park Rangers on the first Sunday of each month. Meet at kiosk by the parking lot, bring binoculars if you have them.  This event is free. Children aged 6 and above, accompanied by an adult, are welcome. No registration required. Pace: Leisurely walk. Terrain: Mostly flat grass/pavement/boardwalk. Distance: Less than 2 miles.

  • This event is entirely outdoors but is restricted to fully vaccinated persons only, wearing of a mask is optional.

  • Participants are required to self-assess prior to the walk and must not attend if they have any COVID-19 symptoms (e.g. elevated temperature) or have been in contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past two weeks.

  • The walk leaders are fully vaccinated.

Conditions such as weather, road or park closures can potentially impact this event. This is especially true during Winter months.
