Bellevue Streams: An Urban Oasis Network

  • Bellevue Botanical Garden 12001 Main Street Bellevue, WA, 98005 United States (map)

Please join Eastside Audubon to learn about the role that streams play in the health of Bellevue’s wildlife, including birds.

Laurie Devereaux, the Bellevue Stream Team Program Administrator, will share her insider's view of local streams through stories of surprise and interconnectedness. We’ll spy on the stream through a traffic camera to learn how Bellevue streams serve as a network of habitat and highway for wildlife.

Laurie Devereaux has been at least knee-deep in every stream in Bellevue while serving as the City’s Stream Team Program Administrator over the last 22 years. Laurie has been a National Park and Forest Ranger, Environmental Educator, and is a lifelong naturalist. She loves connecting people with streams and helping our community prevent pollution.

This event is in person and will not be recorded.
