Time / Location
If you would like to carpool, meet at 7:30 a.m. at the South Kirkland Park & Ride (10610 NE 38th Place, Kirkland). The carpool will return to the Park & Ride around 1:00 p.m., and includes a cost of $5 per passenger in addition to the Birdathon donation.
If you would like to drive on your own, meet at 8:30 a.m. in the parking lot of the Center for Urban Horticulture (3501 NE 41st Street, Seattle).
Notes for the Day
Bring a snack and dress for variable weather. Please be aware there are no restrooms at the birding site — the carpool folks will make a coffee/restroom stop at University Village before parking at the CUH.
Skill Level
Everyone welcome! This walk is great for new birders, and birders of all levels and abilities will enjoy this walk.
Potential Birds
Warblers and other migrating birds will likely be seen and perhaps a few lingering ducks. Shorebirds are generally close and easy to see. Resident raptors might make an appearance.
