The Truth about Bats
Bats have superpowers! They fly with their hands, sleep upside down, and use sound to “see” in the dark. With more than 1,400 species on six continents, bats make up nearly one-fifth of all mammal species on Earth.
During this presentation, you’ll learn about the remarkable adaptations of the world’s bats and the vital ecosystem services they provide that sustain our planet. Discover how wildlife rehabbers care for injured and orphaned bats and what you can do to support bat conservation in your own backyard and beyond.
