  • Tolt-MacDonald Park 31020 Northeast 40th Street Carnation, WA, 98014 United States (map)

Join Kendall Wiggins and Anne Wehrly for this exploration of varied habitats at the confluence of the Tolt and Snoqualmie Rivers in Carnation. Depending on the season, species present in this park include raven, kingfisher, American dipper, kestrel, peregrine falcon, bald eagle, wood duck, swans, and more.

This field trip is for any level of birder, and the leaders encourage attendance by anyone with little or no birding experience. Children 10+ are permitted if accompanied by a parent/guardian.

The pace for this walk will be leisurely, mostly on gravel or dirt trails that are fairly level in grade, with a few stretches on the paved path. The distance covered will be less than three miles. There are portable toilets available. Meet at the Tolt-MacDonald Park parking lot.
