Eastside Audubon Photography Group Member Wins National Photography Award

Margaret Larkin’s photo of the Columbia Gorge at Sunset

Margaret Larkin, a regular recipient of the Eastside Audubon Photography Award, was recently honored in the 2024 North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA) Showcase competition.

Margaret won the Judges’ Choice Award for ‘Scapes with her photo of the Columbia Gorge at sunset.

Margaret, along with her husband Don, has won the Eastside Audubon Photo of the Month Award four times. Some Audubon members will remember her stunning photo of Mandy the Mandarin Duck shown at the 2022 Volunteers Appreciation Night.

Each year, a panel of industry-leading nature photographers selects the winning images for the NANPA Showcase competition.
