Spencer Island Field Trip – Sunday, May 21

$25 donation to Eastside Audubon for Bird-A-Thon

Spring is a good time to explore this wetland located near the Everett Sewage Treatment Ponds. Waterfowl, shorebirds, raptors, and gulls as well as migrating warblers, sparrows and other songbirds in brushy and grassy areas are all possible in the varied habitat. Bring lunch and dress for the weather. Meet before 7 a.m. at the south end of the Kingsgate Park & Ride off I-405 in Kirkland. Return about 1:30 p.m. Passenger cost per person $4.

• Participants must be vaccinated against COVID-19.

• Participants are required to self-assess prior to the walk and must not attend if they have any COVID-19 related symptoms (e.g. elevated temperature) or have been in contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past two weeks.

• The trip leaders are fully vaccinated.
