The Western Gull is a large, white-headed gull with a dark gray mantle, pink legs, and a large, bulbous yellow bill with a red spot toward the tip. In winter Western Gulls move into Puget Sound and can more readily be seen by local birders.
Native American for Department of Interior
The nomination of Deb Haaland for Interior Department is historic and may be redemptive. Christmas Bird Count Highlights 2020
The COVID-19 pandemic caused significant changes to our Christmas Bird Count this year. We could not form teams and carpools as we have for the past 36 years. However, team leaders were able to cover the CBC sections, and 15 others joined the ranks of our feeder watchers to help complete the count on Saturday, December 19, 2020.

It's GivingTuesday...and GratitudeTuesday!
There is Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday….and GivingTuesday! Typically, GivingTuesday is a global day of giving to show support for the nonprofit organizations who are making a real difference in communities across the world. This year, Eastside Audubon is turning this event on its head and renaming it GratitudeTuesday to let you know how much we appreciate you.
